Man arrested for possession of knife in town centre

A knife has been taken off the streets of Wrexham this afternoon.

Wrexham Town Police said a 40 year old man seen in possession of a knife in Wrexham town centre has been arrested at Eagles Meadow.

They added that no one had been harmed.

North Wales Police confirmed to us the man had been arrested for possession of a knife, and also confirmed the knife had been recovered.
