A man has been arrested following a police chase in Wrexham late last night.

The “pursuit with a vehicle” took place from the town area towards Bwlchgwyn just after 11pm last night.

In an update this morning PC Thomas Hough said the driver was arrested for drug driving, dangerous driving, failing to stop no insurance, no licence & finally possession of Class B.

PC Hough added: “The driver has been interviewed about these matters. Due to the wait for blood results for the drug driving element he has now been released under investigation.”
