Man Arrested After ‘Implying He Had a Knife’ & Making ‘Suggestive Comments’ to Young Female

A man has been arrested after making suggestive comments to a young female and implying he was in possession of a knife.

Earlier today North Wales Police announced an investigation was underway after a man made suggestive comments to a female near her home in the Bernard Road area of Wrexham.

The man implied that he had a knife, although no weapon was seen and the victim was unharmed.

The incident took place at 5:45pm on Wednesday 19 October.

This evening DCI Neil Harrison tweeted to say: “Male arrested following a Wrexham female being confronted where he implied that he was in possession of a knife. Enquires are continuing.”

Anybody who may have information or may have seen a male acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident, should contact the police on101 quoting RC16159390.
