Male Dies Following Two Vehicle RTC Near Ruabon

A male has died following a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A483 last night.

The incident took place on the A483 Ruabon near Halton Roundabout shortly after 6pm yesterday evening and involved a Peugeot 307 and a HGV.

A male in his 30s, who was the sole occupant of the Peugeot has died and his next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the HGV is not believed to have sustained any injuries.

Diversions were in place last night and the road was closed for several hours before reopening at 6am this morning.

North Wales Police are continuing their investigations into the incident. Anyone with any further information is advised to contact 101 referencing R185086.
