Male Assaulted in Broad Daylight in Wrexham Town Centre

An appeal for witnesses has been launched after a male was assaulted in broad daylight in Wrexham Town Centre.

The incident took place shortly before 1:30pm this afternoon and left a male in his 20s with multiple injuries.

One witness told Wrexham.com that the incident took place outside WH Smith with emergency services spotted in the town centre by several people earlier this afternoon.

A spokesperson for North Wales Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 1.27pm to an incident on Hope St, Wrexham. We sent an emergency ambulance to the scene, and a man with multiple injuries was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.”
