Gresford Post Office users are being urged to make their views known about a proposed relocation of the village’s Post Office.

Under the proposed changes, which opened for consultation on Friday, the Post Office would move from its current location and would instead be based in the village’s Spar store.

Wrexham MP Ian Lucas has said it is vital that anyone who has views on the proposals makes their views known to the Post Office. People who want to take part in the consultation can do so by visiting postofficereviews.co.uk and using code 56461499.

Mr Lucas said: “I’ll be speaking to people in Gresford about this and I would urge anyone – whatever their views are – to take part in this consultation and make sure their voice is heard.

“There is a six week consultation period, which runs until November 28. I know that, in previous consultations, the Post Office have taken account of local views, so it is important that people who use the Post Office in Gresford take part.”
