Mains leak affecting water supply in Rossett and surrounding areas

A main leak is currently affecting water supplies in Rossett and the surrounding areas.

Dee Valley Water says engineers are currently investigating the leak, which impacting the main supply that feeds Rossett, Lavister, Pulford, Kinnerton, Eccleston, Saighton, Common Wood, Holt , Farndon, Aldford and Churton.

The water issues were reported around 3pm this afternoon and is expected to take between four to five hours to complete.

A statement on the Dee Valley Water website says: “Dee Valley Water engineers are currently investigating a main leak on the main supply that feeds Rossett, Lavister, Pulford, Kinnerton, Eccleston, Saighton, Common Wood, Holt , Farndon, Aldford & Churton.

“The repair once found is expected to take 4/5 hours to complete and the supply will be restored as soon as possible.

“After the repair some customer may experience discoloured water, please run your cold kitchen supply till clear. We apologise for the disruption & thank you for your understanding.”
