Macmillan Coffee Mornings in Wrexham Raise Hundreds For Charity

Hundreds of pounds have been raised for charity this morning thanks to a number of Coffee Mornings taking place across the County Borough.

Forget the Great British Bake Off – local businesses, schools, organisations today joined together to hold Coffee Mornings in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The Coffee Mornings are Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event, raising millions of pounds a year for people facing cancer.

Since launching in 1990 the event has raised over £138 million for Macmillan.

Thanks to the Macmillan Coffee Mornings a total of £734,419.00 has already been raised through this year’s events.
