Lorry Overturns At A55 A483 Posthouse Roundabout

A lorry has overturned at the Posthouse Roundabout in Chester just off the A483 and A55 this morning.

Police closed the roundabout off at around 10.30am diverting traffic via the A55.

The incident is still causing queues backing down the A483 to Wrexham with air ambulance and fire crews still on the scene.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue freed a man who was trapped in the driver’s compartment and handed him over to the ambulance service.

Cheshire Police tweeted to say: “Serious collision A55 Posthouse roundabout to A483. Police, County Fire and Air Ambulance at the scene. Delays on thses routes expected.”
