Long delays following crash in Felin Puleston

Update: The road has since reopened and traffic is flowing normally.

Emergency services are currently in attendance at a collision near Felin Puleston.

The collision, which involved two vehicles, took place on the A5152 Ruabon Road before 4pm this afternoon.

It is reported that the incident has taken place near the Wrexham Cemetery.

There is heavy traffic in the area as a result and we are told that police are diverting vehicles.

North Wales Police say: ” The A5152 Ruabon Road (Wrexham) from the Victoria Road junction to A483 Rhostyllen Roundabout is closed due to a traffic collision.

“Please plan your journey accordingly.

The Welsh Ambulance Service have told us: “We were called at approximately 3.25pm this afternoon to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Ruabon Road, Wrexham.”

“A crew in an emergency ambulance is currently at the scene.”

We are told thankfully those involved are not seriously injured.
