Local MP Ian Lucas has officially opened the ASH Group’s New Head Office on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.

The ASH Group, one of the North West and North Wales’ leading waste management firms, opened an office on the Wrexham Industrial Estate in February 2017, and have now moved their head office operations to Wrexham too.

Zoe Hassall, Director of The ASH Group said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our Head Office premises on the Wrexham Industrial Estate following on from our successful office opening last year. Our Wrexham depot is vital to the overall function of our business, and not only will it strengthen our commitment to growing the company, it will allow us to continue to provide a high level of service to our customer base. We are delighted our Head Office will be located in Wrexham, and we employ many people from the local area as part of our ever expanding workforce.”

The new office will house Telesales, Operations, Customer Service and Contract teams, as well as Accounts and Payroll, and there are plans to increase the number of staff working for the company over the coming months.

Ian Lucas, who initially broke ground on the development in 2016 and opened the first office in 2017 said “I was delighted to return to Wrexham Industrial Estate to open the ASH Group’s new head office. The location is perfect for them and I am pleased to see such a successful and ambitious business underline their commitment to Wrexham and the wider area. I’d like to thank the ASH Group for inviting me back and making me so welcome. I wish them every success in the future.”

The ASH Group provides a varied portfolio of waste management business from its bases in Wrexham, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Telford & Widnes, and currently employs over 230 staff across all its sites.

Managing Director Neil Hassall added ”We are in a period of continued growth across the group as a whole at present, and moving our Head Office to the Wrexham Industrial Estate was a decision that was incredibly simple to make. The local infrastructure and the local community projects we support across the area made it the ideal location for our Head Office. We are delighted with the new office, and look forward to forging new links with new customers across our service regions”
