Local Man Arrested After Gresford ‘Hit And Run’

A local man has been arrested in connection with an incident in Gresford where an elderly gentleman was knocked off his mobility scooter.

The incident occured on the evening of Friday October 25th, where a car failed to stop after colliding with the man and his mobility scooter.

North Wales Police today said “A 42 year old Wrexham man was arrested at Wrexham police station on November 2nd on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop after a collision, failing to report a collision and perverting the course of justice.”

“He has been released on police bail pending further enquires.”
