Local Colleague Celebrates 40 Years of Service as Asda Wrexham

A colleague at a Wrexham supermarket is being congratulated on 40 years of service with the company this month.

Linda Jones, who began working for Asda back in 1976, works at the store located at Holt Road and admits it is the customers that keeps her coming back each day.

Linda said: “I’ve had so many fantastic memories working with Asda and wouldn’t change those memories for the world.

“I love seeing the same faces week in week out – the customers are so friendly and never fail to put a smile on my face.

“I can’t believe how quickly the last 40 years have flown by and it’s really nice to see that we’re all one big Asda family and such a big part of the local community.”

Shaun Leech, general store manager at Asda Wrexham said: “We are proud of all our colleagues at Asda Wrexham and we are especially proud of Linda for all of her hard work over the last 40 years.

“On behalf of everyone at Asda, I thank Linda for her dedicated service, her hard work and outstanding loyalty.”
