Headline Acts Announced For Llangollen Fringe Festival

The headline acts for this years annual Llangollen Fringe Festival have been announced.

This years festival will feature performances The Blockheads, actor and comedian writer Alexei Sayle, former poet laureate Sir Andrew Motion and Gulp featuring. Guto Pryce of Super Furry Animals.

There are also perfomances from folk band Alejandro and The Magic Tombolinos and comedy with ITV’s ‘The Chase’ Paul Sinha.

Now in it’s 15th year, this years event will take place from July 18 – July 28.

Throughout the event visitors will be able to participate in an expanded workshops programme including poetry, choir singing and also get the chance to be in a ‘Band for a Day’.

The festival will also feature a jazz concert on a heritage steam train and a closing night at Valle Crucis Abbey.

Tickets for the whole festival are on sale now; priced at just £55 the festival ticket allows access to all of the main events across the ten days so is great value for money.
