KFC In Wrexham Reopens

We have been oddly inundated with queries over the last few weeks about what is happening with KFC with apparent concern that it might be closing.

A spokesperson for the franchisee that operates KFC in Wrexham told us “We’re delighted to confirm that our Wrexham restaurant will reopen on Friday after a full refurbishment. We’d like to thank all of our customers for their patience during our brief closure and are excited about sharing what we think will be a greatly improved customer experience.”

Eagle eyed Wrexham.com’ers will recall our article back in July about the planning request to double the size (read it here).

The plans and the reality look very similar.

We have also heard of a rumour that the old Wrexham KFC was the busiest per square foot in the whole of Europe – however with the expansion this is no longer believed to be true – if it ever was!
