A new web based street light reporting system is due to launch this month allowing members of the public to report faults and track progress on repairs.

The system, which will be found via the Wrexham.gov.uk site, is aimed at improving efficiency and speed of reporting.

A map based system (pictured above) will allow reporting of problems, plus estimated fix times for Council maintained street lights. The web app itself is currently live and in use by the Council and is due to be made public some point before the end of the year.

Wrexham.com is aware of one street light that has not been active for at least five months, and will use this new system to report and track progress of the repair!
