We have local reports of an incident this evening in Penycae.

One eyewitness told us he saw several police vehicles around Delfryn, with ‘armed police’ outside a house.

It is also rumoured locally that a male has been subject to a theft close to the nearby local shops.

Since publishing this article we were tweeted:

As of 22:30 a local resident has told us police are still attending, and ‘have shields out’.

Davina Hughes told us that the incident has been ongoing for around four hours, and there are police dogs being brought in as of 11:15pm.
