RTC on The A483 Northbound

Update: The A483 is now clear both ways.

Four vehicles were involved in a road accident on Junction 7 on A483 Northbound earlier this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 7:20am.

Four motorists were involved in the accident, with one person sustaining minor injuries.

Original story: A number of people have been in touch regarding an accident on the A483 this morning.

It is reported the accident has taken place towards the Rossett junction and is blocking both lanes. One person has been in touch to tell us the incident appears to have involved several cars, and two incidents occurred one after the other.

Another road user who has been past the scene has said they do not think anyone was injured.

There are long tailbacks from the Rossett junction onwards, with Lisa getting in touch to say the old road through Pulford / Gresford is very busy as you would expect.

Update: The A483 is now clear both ways.
