Plans to build six new homes on land in Rhos have been submitted.

In an application lodged with Wrexham Council permission is being sought for the small residential development near Westerdale on Hill Street.

The plans for the parcel of land, which the applicant’s say surrounds their client’s property, have been put forward as it was felt it would be “good practice to re-develop the land to provide additional residential units in a central location”.

Westerdale, the existing property on the site, would be retained as part of the proposals.

The applicant’s continue onto say the development would be made up of six semi-detached, two bedroom properties.

Access to the dwellings would be provided via Gardden Road, which would be improved as part of the development.

The applicant’s conclude: “We feel this planning application should be looked favourably upon and granted permission as we feel there are no justifiable reasons for refusal.

“Development of this parcel of land within the community will vastly improve on natural surveillance for the area.

“The application site is within the settlement limit of Rhosllanerchrugog, a residential development within the village location would be a welcomed addition to the area.”

The plans will be considered for approval at a later date.
