What has been described as a ‘hour long standoff’ has taken place this evening between a bus and a car in Llay.

Kirsty got in touch with these pictures showing the scene that she says lasted an hour, only ending when an Arriva representative turn up to ensure the bus gave way.

The incident took place on Seventh Avenue in Llay, with several residents looking at the standoff as it developed.

The apparent driver of the car publicly tweeted @wrexham this evening to put his side of the story, stating that his attempt to access his driveway was ‘purposely blocked’ by the bus driver.
