Hoodies Drive Digger From Caia Building Site & Dump It Nearby

Two youths in hoodies stole a digger from a building site in Caia, driving it around half a mile before abandoning it.

Yesterday morning we were told of a 6 tonne dumper truck being stolen from the new school building site on Prince Charles Road in Caia, others described the vehicle as a digger.

Police had closed part of Hullah Lane to the north of Prince Charles Road after the vehicle was found abandoned.

North Wales Police confirm the report of theft and subsequent discovery of the vehicle was made around 10:25am yesterday morning.

Police said: “A digger was stolen from a building site at Ysgol Y Wern and abandoned nearby on Hullah Lane.

“The two offenders seen in the vehicle are described as youths wearing hoodies.

“Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to call 101 reference U109095”
