A significant amount of rainfall over the past few weeks has meant that some parts of Wrexham remain flooded.

Areas such as Holt, Farndon and Bangor-On-Dee have been particularly affected, with the straight mile in Bangor-On-Dee remaining closed.

Back in January we did a picture special about the flooding in the Holt and Farndon. and as the pictures below show, there has been little change in water levels in the area.

We popped to Holt / Farndon a couple of weeks ago to take some aerial photographs, which can be seen in the featured image above. The image shows that a number of fields in the area remain under water.

The area is well known for its flooding and while these may not be the worst the water levels have been local residents have expressed their concern since the recent bout of bad weather, with even more predicted.

During the severe wind and rainfall Wrexham had on Wednesday, during the ‘UK Storm’, we were also sent this video of flooding in the area.
