Handbag Snatched From Wrexham Woman

Police are appealing for information after a thief snatched a woman’s handbag in Wrexham.

The incident happened just before 1pm on Sunday July 13, while the woman was sitting on a bench near the Queensway Sports complex.

A male approached victim from behind, grabbed her hand and stole her handbag before making off with it in the direction of Whitegate Road.

Detective Inspector Dave Jones said: “ I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this crime or may have any information which may assist our investigation, to contact me at Wrexham CID on 01978 348888 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting crime reference number R106916.”
