Half Term Events at Local Parks

Looking for something to keep children occupied with over half term? You’re in luck, there’s lots of fun events taking place across the week.

During May half term there are lots of activities to enjoy at Wrexham’s local parks. Take part in a favourite sport, join a craft session or try something new whilst taking in the sun and warm weather this May.

On Tuesday 26th there is Free Tennis Coaching at the Acton Park courts between 1pm – 3pm.

At Nant Mill on Tuesday 26th you can create your own jewellery using material from the woodland. Drop in 1.30pm – 3.30pm

On Wednesday 27th at Alyn Waters you can help the bees and bugs in your garden by making a bug house. Drop in 1.30pm – 3.30pm

On Thursday 28th try your hand at bowling for free. Meet at Ponciau Banks Bowling Pavilion from 1.30pm – 3.30pm. Age 8 +

Also on Thursday 28th why not watch the Sheep Shearing and Spinning at Ty Mawr Park and try wool crafts. Fleeces available for sale. Woolcraft sessions will be from 1.30pm – 3.30pm

Finally, on Thursday 28th there is Free Tennis Coaching at Bellevue Park courts between 1.30pm – 3.30pm.

Only event with age restriction is Ponciau Banks Bowling Pavilion, 8+. All of events available for all ages.
