Emergency services time has been “wasted” this evening following reports of a group of youths lighting fireworks in bins.

Police say the individuals have been stealing residents bins in the Brynteg area, filling them with fireworks and setting them on fire.

Officers are urging parents and guardians to talk to their children about deliberate fire setting and to ensure “you know where your children are this evening, for their safety as well as others.”
