The university will be holding an open day tomorrow (October 6th), and is inviting prospective students and their families to look around its facilities.

There will also be the opportunity to speak to experts from the university’s academic departments, as well as advisers on finance and accommodation.

Julie Cowley, head of partnerships, recruitment and admissions, said: “We are looking forward to another great open day. We listen to feedback from previous visitors and look to improve the events every time, so each open day offers more.”

Accommodation tours and the chance to see facilities such as the Glyndŵr University Racecourse Stadium and Centre for the Creative Industries up close will be among the highlights of the event. Visitors will also be able to view the university’s campus at Northop and the North Wales School of Art and Design on Regent Street.

Julie added: “Open days are an invaluable opportunity to meet university staff and other students and to get a real picture of what we can offer. I would encourage anyone visiting us to take the chance to ask as many questions and speak to as many different people as they can.”
