Glyndwr University has submitted its formal response to the UK Visa and Immigration service following allegations of fraudulent language tests.

Glyndwr University said yesterday afternoon: “Glyndwr University has just sent its response to the UKVI. We now await their decision.”

“The UKVI has up to 20 days to respond to us.”

“We will be making no further comment at this time.”

Last month we reported that the university had their highly trusted licence to sponsor new international students suspended following the allegations that at least 230 students had invalid English language certificates.

The suspension came as part of nationwide investigations into allegations that some students have used fraudulent English Language tests to gain their visas.
