Friends Fundraiser In Support Of Injured Wrexham Teenager
Earlier this evening Robert Pugh got in touch to let us know about a fundraiser for St Helen’s & Knowsley Hospitals Charitable Fund.
Robert is Catrin Pugh’s brother. Catrin, who is from Rossett and a former Darland High School pupil, was seriously injured in a coach crash as she was heading home after a season working in the Alps.
Catrin suffered severe burns and remains in a critical condition in Whiston Hospital, which is part of the St Helen’s & Knowsley NHS Trust.
The fundraiser page on JustGiving can be found by clicking here, and currently stands at £616 out of a target of £1000.
There is a message on the page from the three friends who set up the fundraiser:
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page – we are raising money in support of my friend’s sister Catrin.
As many of you may have heard, back in April 19-year-old Catrin was in a terrible coach crash whilst skiing in the Alps – she suffered severe burns and is still in critical condition. We are participating in Mud Runner in support of Catrin, her family and the burns unit at Whiston Hospital – the money raised will aid her treatment and the treatment of future patients.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Please donate even if it’s just a teeny tiny amount! If all of our Facebook friends donated £1 we would raise over £2000! So please donate what you can :)
Thanks! Alex, Dani & Emma xxx
