Free events across Wrexham’s four markets to celebrate national ‘Love Your Market’ campaign

Two weeks of free activities celebrating all that’s great about Wrexham’s markets will begin tomorrow.

The activities will be held to coincide with the UK wide ‘Love Your Local Market’ campaign, which will take place between Thursday 17th May and Thursday 31st May.

It aims to encourage residents to support their local market and take part in free activities.

Wrexham has four markets – General, Butchers, Monday and Tŷ Pawb – which will be offering a range of events and activities for people of all ages over the two weeks.

The activities include:

– Live Music
– Face Painting
– Adult Art Workshops
– Cookery Demonstrations
– Children’s Activities
– Children’s Treasure Hunt across all indoor markets
