Work is well under way on four major investment projects at a Wrexham secondary school.

The work taking place at Ysgol Rhiwabon over the summer includes roof improvements, new wi-fi across the whole school site and the installation of a defibrillator.

The redevelopment works taking place across the site aims to ensure that all students and staff at Ysgol Rhiwabon can enjoy new and great facilities.

Project one at the school involves major roof improvements for the site’s STEM L block – along with the replacement of external doors across the premises.

The second project will see the complete IT re-cabling, and installation of improved wi-fi across the whole school site.

This will allow the school to develop its approach to IT across all classrooms and provide a platform for the future development of learning.

Project three will see new furniture for the school’s flexible learning room; with the fourth is the installation of a defibrillator.
