A Freedom of Information request to North Wales Police has revealed a number of bizarre incidents where drivers have been found not having proper control of their vehicle.

In one unusual case a motorist was caught clapping their hands, singing and dancing as they drove. Another two were issued a ticket for applying make up.

A rather rude individual was booked after they removed both hands from the steering wheel to perform an obscene gesture towards police and in a slightly similar incident someone was caught for taking both hands off the wheel to wave at a camera van.

One driver was collared for their bad habits as they picked their nose with one hand, whilst holding a phone against the steering wheel with the other.

Two multi-taskers were found trying to read a book and another took both hands off the wheel to remove a halloween mask. Another entertainment seeker was spotted watching a film on their laptop, which was placed on the dashboard.

Overall North Wales Police recorded 117 cases of people driving without proper control of their vehicle.
