Fire crews are expected to remain at the Wrexham Industrial Estate damping down the fire at the Village Bakery factory.

The fire service have been at the scene of the incident on Coed Aben Road since Monday morning.

At the height of the incident crews from Wrexham, Deeside, Buckley, Llangollen, Chester, Oswestry, two aerial ladder platforms and an incident command unit from Rhyl all attended the blaze yesterday.

Work is now underway damping down the remains of the fire, with North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirming that two appliances, the aerial ladder platform and environmental protection unit will be at the scene for the next few hours.

Aerial images released by North Wales Fire and Rescue images last night show the extent of the damage.
