Fire Crews Tackle ‘Gas Cooker’ Fire at Wrexham Home

Fire crews have this evening tackled a blaze at a Wrexham home which was caused by a oven.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to a fire at a property at Ffordd Llanerch, Penycae at 7:29pm this evening.

The fire caused as a result of a gas cooker in the kitchen of the property.

One crew from Wrexham and another from Johnstown attended the incident.

Robyn, who sent us the image featured above, told Wrexham.com that the people who live in the property are ‘all fine just about, but shaken up’.

The full extent of damage caused to the property is not yet known.
