A resident from Wrexham has again voiced his concern over a syringe found near his house close to the town centre.

Dave Rowlands, who was with his young daughter at the time, noticed the syringe near Rivulet Road at 5pm on Tuesday.

Alongside the needle, they also discovered bits of plastic and items that appeared had been used for drug use.

Dave said: “It was lucky my daughter was holding my hand. If she had ran off ahead then anything could have happened.”

This is the second syringe Dave has found in the space of six months, with the first incident taking place on Madeira Hill when he and his daughter were walking to St. Giles school.

Wrexham.com believes the syringe was reported and dealt with by the Council.

Anyone finding such things on the street can call the Council’s ‘Pride In Your Streets’ team on 01978 298 989 or visit their site by clicking here.
