A road in Wrexham was temporarily closed this evening after a fallen tree blocked the lanes.

The B5070 between the B4500 Castle Road and Station Road was temporarily blocked today after a tree fell across the road, resulting in the closure of the two lanes.

The incident took place shortly after 4:30pm this afternoon. Police attended the scene and we are told that motorists were initially allowed through.

Darren Burford sent Wrexham.com the above image saying that traffic has been stopped while work removing the tree took place.
