A recent Wedding Trail in the town has been deemed ‘fabulous’ after a successful weekend.
The Wedding Trail took place from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th of January, and saw hundreds of brides and grooms take part in the trail across the town.
Over the course of the three day event, brides had the opportunity to visit a number of local Wrexham stores that offer wedding services.
The idea behind the Wedding Trail came about after a number of businesses in the town held a meeting to discuss ways to encourage people into Wrexham. Together they decided to hold a Wedding Trail rather hold a conventional Wedding Fayre.
In total over 30 local businesses took part in the trail, on Grosvenor Road, Town Hill, Hope Street, High Street, Butchers’ Market, Yorke Street, Chester Street and Charles Street, as well as at the Wynnstay Arms.
Some of the services provided on the day included dress makers, gift providers, florists, car hire companies and photographers.
One of the organsiers of the event, Laura Evision from The Regent House of Flowers said: ” The event has been great and had a fabulous response. We’re all so pleased and looking forward to another event in the future.”
