Ex-DJ Roy Norry Convicted Of Historical Sex Abuse

Three men have been found guilty of historical sex offences that occurred locally in the 1970s to 1980s.

Former local radio DJ Roy Norry from Connah’s Quay has been found guilty of five indecent assaults on a male and one serious sexual assault.

Norry was cleared of one attempted serious sexual assault and indecent assault.

The allegations of abuse involved boys aged 10 to 15 in the 1970s and 80s.

Verdicts have been reached for two other men, with charges involving four other men are still being considered by a jury in Mold Crown Court.
