Investigation underway after air ambulance called to “serious collision” in Llangollen

Emergency services are in attendance at a serious road traffic collision in Llangollen.

North Wales Police say the incident on Castle Street involves a pedestrian and a car.

As a result the road is currently closed and motorists are being urged to use alternative routes.

The Air Ambulance has attended the incident.

The helicopter left the scene of the incident, heading to Stoke, at 11:39 am.

Investigation work is ongoing this lunchtime with roads remaining closed off.
