A number of companies on the Rossett Business Park have been left without electricity this afternoon following a power cut in the area.

Shortly after midday there were a number of reports of a power cut on the Rossett Business Park, which is thought to have been caused by issues with an overhead cable.

Details on the SP Energy Network Website state: “It has been necessary for us to isolate the main power supply in the LL12 postcode area of Rossett for safety, following reports of a low overhead cable. This is affecting properties in a wide spread area.

“Our emergency response teams have been alerted and will be making their way to site to confirm the report and restore your electricity supply by 2PM. Should this information change every effort will be made to keep you updated.

“We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”

As of 12:30pm there have been reports that some power has been restored.

More information when we have it…
