Recent data from MusicMetric gives the low down on the most pirated music around the UK (raw data is here) and the results are Wrexhamites loving pirating Ed Sheeran!

Ed’s album is apparently shared 237 times a month on average, and Rizzle Kicks is also quite high for the UK.

Up the road in Chester they are keen on Ed Sheeran as well, but only downloading it 157 times. They are though more into their One Direction though!

Mold love DJ Fresh and Ben Howard (whoever he is?!)  but are much lower than Wrexham with just 22 downloads for their highest recorded piracy figure.

Nantwich are the closest low pirating place, with Olly Murs being their favourite but even as a peak it was only shared 19 times.

Ed Sheeran is the UK’s most pirated artist at the moment, so in terms of that Wrexham are bang on trend.

Back in February the residents of Rossett were abit suprised to see Ed Sheeran around – as he was playing at Earl Grosvensors 21st birthday party nearby.
