The forum will be meeting at Glyndwr University on Saturday and Mr Miliband will be attending to make a speech on key party policy matters.

The National Policy Forum, which consists of 184 Labour party members, was set up by former Prime Minister Tony Blair to oversee policy development.

They generally meet two or three weekends a year to hold detailed discussions on documents produced by the party’s policy commissions.
