Equipment used to grow cannabis was seized from a property in Wrexham today.

A warrant executed in Coed Aben, Caia Park earlier this morning has resulted in a ‘significant seizure of drugs’.

One person is currently in custody as a result of this morning’s warrant.

Town Centre Inspector Paul Wycherley tweeted to say there are more raids to come. Officer Wesley Williams tweeted the above photo, adding: “Cannabis set up seized and removed from address on Coed Aben @wrexham arrest made.”

Today’s warrant is the sixth to take place in a number of weeks and follows a series of successful raids earlier this month.

Arrests were made for dealing heroin and cannabis, and possession of cocaine and a significant amount of cash was also seized.
