Armed police responded to a report of an incident in Ponciau in the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called just after 1am to an address on North Road in Ponciau, with other roads appearing to be closed to traffic and local residents for around an hour.
One resident told us: “I witnessed police arming up with small weapons that looked like MP5’s. They also had head protection and shields.”
Several police cars responded with another resident telling us: “There was lots of quiet police, blue lights but no sirens”.
North Wales Police confirmed they attended the area after concerns for a persons safety, thankfully no crimes were committed nor anyone injured with the incident ending safely.
We are told police remained in the area until around 3am.
