E-fit issued as elderly residents targeted by distraction burglaries

Police have this morning released the above electronic picture of a person suspected of being involved in distraction burglaries on elderly people.

The incidents have occurred in Wrexham and Rhos.

Police said: “Help us trace this man suspected of attempted distraction burglaries on elderly residents in Rhos (and) Wrexham, including at Afon yr Rhos around 6.00pm to 6.30pm Nov 21.”

Anyone with any information, or who may recognise the person, is urged to call police via the 101 number and request to speak to Sgt Ian Evans (1881) with any information citing reference RC17176361.
