The weather forecast is currently showing a lovely 18C and dry evening ahead of the now famous Underneath the Arches event!

If you are going you can expect an evening of quality music, food and fireworks at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct – part of Wrexham’s World Heritage Site and one of Wales most iconic landmarks. With schools breaking up on the 20th organisers point out ‘this family event is a great way to kick off the summer holiday’.

The evening includes live music with this year’s headliner the ever popular Big Beat, performing rock, motown and soul music with Delta Radio, Break the Record and Crossroads all keeping the crowds entertained until the grand finale when the 126 pillars of the aqueduct are lit up with a back drop of the now legendary firework display.

Organisers have also told us Friday is looking busy for Friday’s event, but there are still tickets available via UTA2018.EVENTBRITE.CO.UK.

The evening is family friendly and food and soft drinks will be available. You can bring your own alcohol but there is a reminder that it is a family event so the amount you can bring on to the field is limited.

If you have not been before there is this great video from a previous event…

You can view the ticketing information here, and buy tickets online here.
