Issues with drug use in Wrexham Bus Station have been described as ‘beyond a joke’ after paraphernalia was found yesterday.

The containers believed to be for methadone, which are featured above were found in the mens toilets at the Bus Station on King Street yesterday morning – raising concerns about the safety of those who are using the facilities.

Gavin, who sent Wrexham.com the images said: “The drug problem in King Street toilets in @wrexham is beyond a joke now. Issue needs addressing ASAP.

“It’s every day that paraphernalia is left behind for the public to see. Angle the back basin so that nothing can be put on it.”

Last year North Wales Police launched ‘Operation Bridal’ which targeted anti-social behaviour and drug use around the bus station following a number of complaints.

Anyone that finds such evidence of drugs paraphernalia are asked to report it, anonymously if they prefer, on 01978 292000. If anyone wishes to respond incidences of drug use or anti social behaviour they should contact the police on 101.
