Doctor Who’s Tardis Coming To Wrexham
Next Monday the world’s most famous police box will be landing in Wrexham.
Doctor Who’s Tardis will arrive in town on Monday, giving fans a unique opportunity to see the time-travelling bigger-inside box up close.
The sci-fi icon will “magically” appear overnight at secret locations in eight towns and cities across the country. The exact location of the Tardis will be revealed on Twitter on Monday morning.
The Tardis is touring as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the popular series, which is made in Wales.
Executive producer Brian Minchin said: “Doctor Who fans across Wales will have a unique opportunity to get up close to the Doctor’s time machine and be part of our anniversary celebrations.”
The 50th anniversary episode, called The Day Of The Doctor and starring the current Doctor Matt Smith as well as the previous Doctor David Tennant, will be shown on BBC One Wales on November 23.
To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who, on November 23rd the Odeon in Wrexham will be showing 3D screenings of the anniversary special.
