It’s the most anticipated time of the year for many theatre-goers in Wrexham… oh no it isn’t… OH YES IT IS!

Grove Park Theatre will tonight see the first performance in a month-long run of pantomime Dick Whittington and His Cat, sure to be a family favourite over the Christmas period. The tale of a Gloucestershire country boy seeking his fortune in London, who’s told by Fairy Bow and Fairy Bells that his destiny is to be Lord Mayor of the city, is a perennially popular panto and in recognition of the current economic climate (which leaves most of us wishing for streets paved with gold ourselves!) the theatre have kept prices the same as last year. This means that adults pay just £8 and children under 16 pay £6.50, while families can save even more with a bargain family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children available at just £26.

There are several weekend matinees in addition to evening performances throughout the next month, with full details of dates and times shown below. Tickets can be booked online while for more information about Grove Park Theatre please visit their website.
