The Ragazzi designer clothes store on Eagles Meadow / Yorke Street was broken into in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Two windows were smashed just before 4am creating a ‘big crash’, although Police say no wider access to the store was gained by burglars.

Police were called at 3:51am to reports of a burglary, where a concrete post was used to smash the windows.

We are told some stock was taken by the thieves, with some clothing recovered nearby in the Wynnstay Hotel car park.

Police are appealing for anyone with information connected to the incident to call them on the 101 number, citing reference V042977.
