‘Demand on network due to hot weather’ causing discoloured water across Wrexham
A number of residents across Wrexham have reported issues with ‘discoloured water’ this evening, with demand on the Dee Valley Water network due to the hot weather cited as the cause.
The issues, which are affecting residents across several parts of Wrexham, were reported shortly after 6pm this evening.

A statement published by Dee Valley Water this evening says: “We are currently receiving calls from the Wrexham area of aerated water (milky appearance) this is being caused by current demand on our Network during this hot spell of weather.
“We would like to reassure our customers that air in supply poses no threat to health and will gradually disperse of its own accord.
“Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
